If you purchased the Kukirin electric scooter on Amazon, eBay or other platforms, you need to find the customer service staff of the website you purchased to provide after-sales repair services. Our company has regulations that the website you purchased from provides complete after-sales services.
1. Electric Scooter/Bicycle Warranty
Please check if the scooter is working properly immediately upon receiving the package. If we determine that the scooter is malfunctioning due to material/manufacturing defects (serious quality issues that render the scooter unusable), we will provide a refund or replacement service. In this case, return shipping is free of charge.
Scooters are large packages, and minor imperfections due to bumps during transportation are normal. We will take precautions in packaging to prevent damage. Due to the long shipping distance, if unavoidable bumps result in minor damage, we are willing to provide new replacement parts without requiring the return of the old parts; the old parts can be kept as spares.
To prevent malicious requests for parts, the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement parts.
During use:
Self-replacement of parts: If the customer encounters product quality issues, our company will provide free replacement parts and free technical assistance for repairs. The customer will be responsible for the corresponding shipping costs, which will be between £15 and £35.
Return to repair center service: The customer does not need to bear the return shipping cost, but will need to bear the shipping cost for the repaired item to be sent back. Due to the scooter being a large package, the shipping cost will be between £150 and £300. Payment will be based on actual costs. Please contact us before returning the defective product to obtain the return address and other instructions.
Before returning the package to our overseas warehouse, please be sure to communicate with our customer service staff; otherwise, your returned package may easily be lost or unclaimed. Thank you for your cooperation.
2. Warranty for accessories of electric scooters/bicycles
Our company will provide accessories free of charge but will not bear the logistics costs; if the warranty period exceeds 1 year, we will not be able to provide you with warranty, and you need to purchase accessories yourself.
All customers who purchase scooters from January 1, 2025 will enjoy a 12-month warranty on accessories.
For customers who purchase scooters before January 1, 2025, the battery, motor and controller are only warrantied for six months, and the display and charger are only warrantied for three months. The warranty period for other accessories is 12 months.
3. Consumable parts can be replaced free of charge within seven days after receipt; but if they are damaged during use, customers need to purchase and replace them by themselves. Consumable parts: (tire kit, brake kit)
4. The warranty will be void and all rights will be lost in the following cases:
● The product is modified or repaired by unauthorized technicians or/and faulty, modified or non-original equipment/accessories are used.
● The product is subjected to an accident or damage due to external factors, atmospheric conditions or other such events.
● The failure is caused by dirt, impurities, water, foreign objects, etc.
● The product is used in the rain and/or driven through a body of water with a depth greater than 4 cm.
● The product or part identification series/code/marking, etc. is removed/illegible, and the marking or relief is made for various purposes Spare parts or original parts have dents, mechanical shocks, thermal or other breaks, cracks, etc., but these are not caused by them.
● The product is changed from its original state due to natural influences (corrosion, condensation, etc.) due to improper storage conditions.
● The product is not used in accordance with the conditions of the user manual. – Link product failure is caused by vandalism or similar reasons.
● The warranty period has expired.
5. Purchased accessories cannot be covered by warranty.
For customers purchasing accessories separately, these accessories do not come with an extended warranty. If you encounter any quality issues, please contact customer service via email on the same day you receive the package and provide photos of the package.
